Shake out the Dirt: - Choose a sunny day and take the Shotoronji outside. - Hang it over a sturdy clothesline, porch railing, or chairs. - Use a broom, tennis racket, or rug beater to loosen embedded dirt. - Remove the rug pad and clean the flooring underneath. 2. Vacuum the Rug: - Spread the rug flat with the wrong side up. - Vacuum thoroughly on both sides. - If outside is not available, use a dry area like the kitchen or garage. 3. Mix a Gentle Detergent Solution: - Fill a large bucket with cool water. - Add one to two tablespoons of gentle detergent like Woolite. - Prepare a second bucket with clean water. 4.
