He started his journey in the apparel industry by establishing his own buying house named “Snowtex” in 2000. Based on his honesty, sincerity, commitment and hard labor he drives his business in a very prompt way that helps Snowtex to expand its business in no more than eleven years. Within the next eleven years “Snowtex” became larger with the introduction of “Snowtex Apparels Ltd.” in 2005 with 6 production lines and “Cut N Sew Ltd.” in 2011 with 12 production lines.

Focusing on the future requirements of environmental friendly Green buildings, Mr. S. M. Khaled created Snowtex Outerwear Ltd. which has been certified as LEED PLATINUM building by USGBC (United States Green Building Council) in 2021. In 2019, SNOWTEX started another green factory – Snowtex Sportswear Ltd. which has also been certified as LEED PLATINUM building in December 2021.

With all his experiences and achievements, in 2019, Mr. S. M. Khaled was selected as Chairman of IE BGMEA Standing Committee for the years 2019-2021 and 2021-2023 where he put in an effort to develop our country’s apparel sector. He has been also performing his duties as a Director of CanCham Bangladesh (Canada Bangladesh Chamber of Commerce and Industry) since 2019.

The Managing Director of SNOWTEX started a retail business named SaRa Lifestyle Ltd. on May 2018 with the goal of producing world-class clothing in reasonable price. SaRa has now total 14 stores running.

Mr. S. M. Khaled spent quite a long time serving society. The learning from those days guides him to work continuously to satisfy all his customers and also to honor all Snowtex family members so that they can enjoy every moment in Snowtex. One of the major goals of SNOWTEX is to help society and to bring prosperity to everyone’s life.and to bring prosperity to everyone’s life.
